Walk through displays of European wildlife,
discover freshwater fish from the lakes and rivers of Central Europe, and see how people have hunted and fished from earlier times to the present day.Historic fishing equipment, elaborately decorated hunting weapons, paintings, porcelain and unusual artifacts reveal both the practical and artistic sides of these traditions. The museum’s collections also tell stories of Bavarian hunting culture and history, including objects and trophies associated with notable hunters such as Count Arco. But this is not simply a museum about the past.
